Pawan Kalyan Reveals Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Fund Details in AP Assembly

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared detailed information in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly regarding the utilization of funds for the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development departments. He highlighted government initiatives to improve village infrastructure, address drinking water problems, and protect the environment.

In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan presented detailed information on the utilization of funds allocated to the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development departments. By clearly explaining how public money is being spent, he aimed to demonstrate the government’s accountability.

During the discussion on budget grants in the Assembly, he stated that approximately ₹15,485 crore has been allocated to the Panchayati Raj Department, ₹11,217 crore to the Rural Development Department, and ₹713 crore to Forestry and related departments. He explained that these funds will be used to improve infrastructure in villages.

𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:

Pawan Kalyan said the government has identified drinking water issues in thousands of villages across the state and has begun taking steps to address them. He mentioned that around 3,000 villages are facing drinking water shortages and special measures have been initiated to resolve the issue.

He also noted that funds from the 15th Finance Commission are being released to local bodies on time.

Pawan Kalyan expressed concern that removing trees that are over 100 years old during road expansion projects is unfortunate. He said the government is planning to introduce a special policy to relocate such trees to other places whenever necessary. Additionally, he mentioned that geo-tagging of plants is being implemented on a pilot basis to ensure their protection.
